Where to Find a Babysitter?

DH and I haven't been out on a date since B was born....and we're long overdue. I was planning on taking DH to a comedy show for Father's Day. But I'm not really sure where to find a babysitter. DH has a friend that probably would watch the baby.....but I kind of feel bad asking her. What if she has plans? What if the baby wakes up?

How do you arrange to go out with your significant other? Do you have a list of babysitters or family/friends? Do you pay them? Is there a service you use?

    I know there are plenty of reliable babysitters and friends that would pitch in, but I'm planning on having only (or mostly) family and the occational older family friend watch the little one when she gets here.  I just feel more comfortable.
