had my first u/s today

I was a little disappointed :(  I am measuring 4w2d and we saw the sac in the ute, but nothing else.  The tech said that's normal and I'm going back in 2 weeks.  I think I got myself hyped up because I had been reading that we could see the fetal pole at 5w5d, which is what my ticker says... not measuring days-which is what I truly am.  I'm happy we got to see the sac though, and my 3rd beta numbers were really good, so now I can wait for 6/7 when my next u/s is!!  I just feel like I still can't "relax" until I know the babe is growing in there!

    With dd, I had an u/s around 4 weeks and we also only saw the sac.  You will be amazed at how much changes in the next 2 weeks!

    Do you think your dates are off?  When was your LMP?  When did you get your BFP?  I'm sorry you weren't able to see anything other than the sac.

    That is disappointing but I'm sure you just ovulated later than you thought.  I hope when you got back, you get to see the little heart beat.
    I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...

    my LMP was 4/14...which puts my ticker at 5w5d.. I got the BFP on 5/19.. I I obv know that I O somewhere 2 weeks after the LMP, so I guess its measuring right?

    all i saw was the sac at my 5w3d appointment.  at my 7w appointment i saw the baby, so do not fret, everything will most likely be okay!

    I had my first u/s at 5w4d & I only saw the sac and the yolk sac. My DR said it's normal to not see the fetal pole until after 6 weeks... I'm going back this wednesday for another sono... GL!

    You probably ovulated late.  Not all ladies ovulate on day 14.  Most don't, actually.  How long are your cycles, usually?

    I had an ultrasound at 5w 3d and 5w 5d and we only saw a sac and yolk sac, no fetal pole, both times.  Twelve days later there was a baby with a heartbeat!  A lot can change in two weeks!

    My doctor told me to not get my first U/S until I was at least 6.5 weeks pregnant.  After my blood work came back they suggested that I not go till 7.5 weeks.  So I have mine scheduled for next tuesday!

    It feels like forever!
