We ended up getting 2 bouncers at our shower. One is a Fisher Price and the other is by Bright Start. We plan on returning one of them because we simply don't have the room or the need for both but we aren't quite sure which one to hold on to. Does anyone have a preference for one or the other?

How does a bouncer that holds a tiny baby fall apart?
I have both brands (different patterns though) from DD1 and I like the bright start one because it is wider for when baby comes a little more active and snuggles baby in more. DD hated being strapped in so unless she fell asleep in the seat I wouldnt buckle her in and she could throw her self from side and almost fall out of the FP one. So I would have to sit right next to her in that one always until she fell asleep which kind of makes them pointless since the purpose of these is so you can get some stuff done while baby is entertained!
ETA: you might want both seats actually because I keep one at my parent shouse who would watch DD occasionally and it was great to have for when we go over for dinner or visits or whatever.
This. Seriously. I still have one that is almost 2 years old that has had a lot of rough play now that I have it out again in DD2 nursery. DD1 likes to put her baby dolls in it and bounce them up and down and get in it herseld (which I take her out but still she has done it a couple of times and is way too heavy) and it is still in like-new state!
I got the Bright Start as a shower gift, DH put it together for me and it seems to be very good quality... I don't know how LO will like it because he's not here yet but I know that if it was adult sized I could totally take a nap in it!
That WAS really weird - I felt like I was looking through a flip book! Got a good giggle out of me this morning, though.
@OP - for what it's worth, a lot of my girlfriends swear by Fisher Price products. They say if ever there is a problem, Fisher Price customer service is incredible. Apparently, the company takes really good care of you; one of my girlfriends said they couldn't fix one of the problems so they sent her a new product entirely. I LOVE companies that stand behind their products!
