Hmm...I've not worn an ergo for any period of time so I can't say for sure but the breeze is pretty cool. I would warn you that because it's thin, you have to wrap carefully with it, especially with a bigger baby, so that it doesn't get uncomfortable. I actually just got a used one to take to the beach - I found it comfy with my 23 pounder if I wrap well in a double hammock.
They are super pretty for sure!!
There are some other thin wovens that are more forgiving - Vatanai is the best thin wrap for multi-layer carries and I think BB Slens are great for single layer carries (which are of course cooler in general). I have more info in my siggy link.
