Sorry for being an AW. It's another houseguest thing, if you read my post earlier.

At dinner, we were eating and I said, "I wonder what my MIL made tonight." That's it. I was really wanting to say, "I wonder what my MIL slaved over and had to put up for leftovers."

I'm upset that DH is mad, but I'm mad too now. He thinks I'm rude and spoiled when I do things like this. Maybe I am but I don't care.

Im sorry. I think you're in the right but I'm not going to lie, I think DH would be mad at me too... I think it's just we were raised with different rules of etiquette. I mean when you stay with family, even know they're family, you still have to remember you're a guest in their home.

Yeah, I know it was a little rude, and he does have the right to be mad.

I hate having DH mad, we've gotten along so well lately, but I'm over this houseguest thing.

I might bring this up if we talk about it again! Earlier, he was griping about him with me, now he's saying, "Well, I don't want your family to ever stay with us if they want to!" He'll do it behind peoples' backs but not to their faces.

I'll be back on later. They're both in the shower right now (separate bathrooms!) so I'm going to go throw my head over the sink and wash it to use up some hot water. Just to be a b!tch.
