I'm walking down the hallway and I see a lock of hair on the floor. Horrified, I immediately go to look at Hannah and I ask if she cut her hair. She says proudly, "Yes!" I ask her where. She says, "In Sam's room!" I go into Sam's room, and there's a more hair on the floor. I look at her and luckily I can't really tell where she cut it. After she showed me where, I could see it, but it wasn't too bad. Nothing like that photo on shitmykidsruined.com, thank goodness!
I guess I need to be more on top of Sam to put his art supplies away when he's done with them...
And of course this brought back memories of when my sister threw a wad of bubble gum at me and it landed in the front of my hair, so I cut it out. I had 1" bangs for my first grade class picture.
Re: My daughter cut her hair today
I cut off my sister's pigtail when I was 4 and she was 2... As punishment, my mom gave us both the same awful haircut....
My cousin had the cut your own bangs bangs... Hideious... Still strangly a right of passage as a child
according to my mother all girls between the ages of 3 and 4 cut their hair.
That's what my mom says also- I cut off ALL of my bangs & a front chunk when I was 3. Oh well....
yep, I did it when I was 4. My mother screamed bloody murder when I showed her.
I really hope Maddie never does it.
ack! Be still my heart - I think I would freak if my girls cut their hair!
I'm hoping the fact that Julia got in big trouble for cutting up the clothes she was wearing a month ago counts for our 'cutting hair' turn.
Hope the bald spot covers easily!
