What's your favorite series finale ever? The most disappointing?

I don't really have a favorite, but my least favorite was Will and Grace.

My favorite finale is a little lame...Dawson's Creek...mainly for P&J ending up together. My least fave was The X-Files. I was just so disappointed with the last three seasons of that show.

Ugh. Dawson's Creek was the worst ever. The whole fake dying-Jen-leaving-a-message-for-her-baby thing was lame.

Felicity was bad too. She starts college over again, and has this weird "alternate ending" dream thing. Horrible. At least she ends up with Ben, but you don't even get to see her choose him!

Best: Sex and the City.

Really? I loved the Will & Grace finale.

Worst series finales: Dawson's Creek, The Wonder Years, Monk

I don't know if I really have a favorite, I liked how Friends ended and obviously Will & Grace but those are the only ones I can think of that I didn't get seriously p!ssed off about.

Haha, I saw your best after I posted mine. I was glad Pacey and Joey at least ended up together. It redeemed it a little.

Like I said, it was a little lame, but totally loved P&J getting together. Buffy was actually probably the best finale, but I am running on limited brain cells today and forgot about it

Definitely this. I have every season on DVD, and I still bawl when I watch the finale!

Showing my nerdiness here... Battlestar Galactica had the best produced finale ever IMHO- not that it was just a stellar episode- it really 'finished' the series meaningfully.

Also, Dollhouse had a fantastic finale- particularly when you consider how short it got cut.

Worst: Firefly because there WASN'T one. >:

I read an interview with the creators yesterday. They specifically said it will not be a "dream" ending nor will the island fly away as an alien space craft. They did mention they are nervous that people aren't going to like it and it will continue to have people talking. They said eventually they'll come out and try to answer all the questions. They even joked about going on tour and calling it Smoke & Mirrors the story of Lost.

A space ship? Like in the last Indy movie? lol Hopefully, there is some satisfaction for fans.

I've actually not even followed the series, but there is so much hype around it. PLEASE don't let it be a dream (producers said no, so that's good) or all in someone's mind, like St. Elsewhere, where we found out that the whole thing was in the imagination of an autistic child looking in a snowglobe, or something like that lol!

I hate cop-out endings where they don't know how to end it at all, so they just don't. Boo.

I think the worst was Seinfeld, such a let down. I did like however how they commented about how lame it was in Larry David's show.

I don't know about the best, I HATE when shows end - such a bummer.

Sex and the City and Mash were the best. I hated Six Feet Under but only because it met that it was over

This! Sex and the City was a great series finale also, but they killed it with the movie.
