My first test: baby shower

Whenever I go to Target, Wal-Mart or Old Navy and look at the baby stuff, I get all emotional and start tearing up (damn hormones!) Now I'm headed to a baby shower where nobody knows I'm pregnant. Wish me luck that I don't start bawling at all her gifts, especially the cute little dresses and socks and stuff. lol This is going to be interesting...

    I'd totally get teary eyed. I just can't help it, even non baby related things make me teary lately! I am a big pregnant hormonal mess!

    I'm sure it will be fun.  Everyone gets emotional at those things.  I'm sure you won't stand out at all.  Also, keep a mental list of all the cool stuff she gets.
    I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...

    Fortunately, one of the games they had us play was baby gift bingo, so while she was opening her presents, we were trying to mark things off the board so that kept me from getting emotional. She did ask for a lot of things I wouldn't have thought of, like a medical kit, and she asked for everyone to sign a children's book instead of cards which I thought was really creative. I did get emotional while reading "Goodnight Moon," one of my favorite children's books that I bought for her daughter. lol

    you did way better than I did at my cousins baby shower. I outed myself to another cousin by accident because I was a little too interested in the presents (and cause I didn't drink any sangria after prodding by everyone for almost an hour)
