so how was your weekend?

Did you do anything fun?  DH and I went car shopping on saturday think we decided on a Acura TL, I loved it.  Not much today went to lunch with the in-laws and BIL and his family

    I worked a bit yesterday and then went to a 1st birthday party. Today I went to brunch, did a few loads of laundry, and I'm off to the grocery store now. Suburban life is just too exciting! ;)

    Nothing too exciting, especially since MH had to work yesterday and today.  The only real excitement is going to be eating the sauce that I have been cooking all day... the smell is killing me, I can't wait for dinner time!

    Not bad...we spent yesterday at an animal sanctuary that rescues former exotic pets/performers.  We went to the drive-in and watched the new Shrek movie & Iron Man 2 again.  Been lazing around all day today.  Pretty decent weekend.

    We went grocery shopping "in town" yesterday and met up with a friend for lunch, then at 10 last night be grandma called to say she was swing by this morning, so DH and did the "holy $hit, Clean the house!" panic attack until midnight. today we visited with them, made a yummy brunch, and we are debating if we want to do yard work, go to the shooting range or just sit around and be lazy! lol

    Our weekend was busy! Hosted in-laws anniversary party last night; played basketball and baseball with my twin bro, DH, and one of our best guyfriend; ate a very bad for us lunch; and now may take a nap before LOST series finale. :) I wanna make it to 11:30.

    My hubs just graduated from grad school today with his MBA in International Business.  I just sat outside in 80 degree sun all afternoon.  We are getting ready to go out to dinner soon with my parents, his mom, and his sister to celebrate.  That's pretty much been our whole weekend, but it's a great reason to celebrate!

    I had a wedding yesterday for my DH's side of the family and today I was stuck inside cleaning and doing laundry.  We are about to go to my parent's to celeberate my sister and DH's birthdays.

    On Friday we went over to our best friend's house to celebrate the husband's birthday. Cooked dinner, drank some wine and hung out on the back porch. Their oldest daughter is our DD's bff, so she had a blast too.

    On Saturday, DD went to my parents for the day and night, so we ran some errands, hooked up our new Apple TV, took a nap and then last night we had yummy Thai takeout and watched movies. 

    Today BIL came over for lunch and we grilled out, now I'm relaxing and about to start cooking a really yummy dinner.

    Oh and DH broke and fixed the internet. :)

    I had facial laser surgery on Wednesday (to correct years of scarring by cystic acne and a bout of chickenpox at age 13); so, I've been inside most of the weekend, looking like a melting candle/burn victim.  Buuuuut, I'm feeling and looking much better today - haha! Yes

    By the bye, I really love Acura's!  My bf in college had one, and I always loved driving it!  Are you gonna get it?

    Ahhhh. .. . . there was a huge NC wine festival yesterday and DH and I attended with some pals. It was a wonderful way to spend the day. Today, we went grocery shopping, I did the laundry and DH helped me clean up the house and give the dog a bath. Overall, it has been a great weekend!
