or at least i think, our complex has an outdoor pool that is used my residents, well this one guy was being a smart arse the other day when i was down there and asked if i was pregnant or just fat, me being the smart ass i am i said NO its a tumor, YES im pregnant. well management had the grand opening of the pool today, and this same smart ass says oh so you are still fat. im like im not fat. he then chimes up and says YOU KNOW THERE IS SUCH A THING AS JENNY CRAIG!!!!!

yah let me tell you how TICKED off and bad i felt afterwards. MAN i swear people dont think about other peoples feelings. and my husband was awesome he goes honey you arent fat you are 9 months pregnant and less then 2 weeks from your due date you look wonderful!

Why didn't you say something to him??? OMG, I would have said very sarcastically, "Oh my gosh! Well I'm going to the hospital pretty soon and all of a sudden I won't be fat anymore and I won't need that. Won't that be awesome??"

Although I like to think I'm so sassy, and when people say rude crap to me I just stand there and then come up with comebacks later.

As dumb as this guy is, the management can't tell someone they are not allowed somewhere just because he's a rude a$$hole. Telling them would do absolutely nothing.

At my old apartments, two guys were banned from the gym area for this kind of stuff. My management felt that common areas were for everyone and everyone should be respectful.

Since it was not the first time, I feel you would be justified being rude back to him. Something like "in a couple of weeks, I'll have a baby and have lost weight. You on the other hand, will still be an ugly jerk."

What a jackass. I would definitely complain to the apartment management. Especially since this is the second time he's said something to you. I don't know if it's because I live on a military base, but our housing management has rules about respecting neighbors. Any complaints can lead to you being kicked out. It's a private management company, not the military, so I imagine it must work like that in other places.
