Has anyone heard of using BM for other uses than to eat. My DD has pink eye (got it from my older DD). My friend said to put BM in her eye and it will heal.
How many times do I need to do it for a clogged tear duct? I keep hearing this and DS1 had clogged ducts that didnt open until he was 13months. Now DS2's are both clogged.
I also never leak so how and the heck do I get it in there? LOL pump and use a dropper?

I only had to do it once for DS, but it probably depends on your individual baby. I'd just do it whenever they seem to be getting goopy, and it should help.
Moisten a Q-Tip with BM and gently massage the inner corner of his eye. If you prefer, you can massage with your fingertip for better control, and then use the moist Q-Tip to wet the area. The massage opens up the duct and lets the BM work its way in.
You don't need to put it in the whole eye like we would do, not for a clogged duct anyway.
Re: Breastmilk for eye infection?
Not weird
BM is full of antibodies and white blood cells, which speed healing and prevent infection.
DS is 16 months old and I still put BM on his cuts and scrapes.
I do this too. Seems to help speed up his healing!
