I have a feeling (vent)

DH is on his way home from a class in Seattle.  I have a feeling he's going to want some sex when he gets home.  I'm so tired.

I spent today cleaning our old house and assembling our new massive entertainment center from IKEA.  DD also woke up at 5:45 this morning.  I finally got a shower and feel clean.  I don't want to get dirty.

Re: I have a feeling (vent)

  • I can understand how you feel!  I've been exhausted lately, too.  IKEA things are wonderful and cheap, but I've spent days putting together things from there, too.  During the construction I swear I'll never go back, but I always find myself there because their stuff is great!

Are you moving if you have an "old house"?  We're in the middle of a move, too!  I'm just glad I'm not 9 months pregnant and trying to move!

  • We bought a "new" house in March and weren't in a big hurry to move since our "old" house was on the market.  We were lucky to find buyers quickly and moved last Saturday.  We close on the "old" place on Friday.

Honestly, I'd think moving while 9mo pregnant would be better than moving with a toddler.  At least then you're not expected to do any heavy lifting, etc.  You can just direct traffic.

  • Moving with a toddler will be a challenge!  Glad that you guys sold your house right away.  Ours wasn't on the market too long.  We're packing up and planning on moving in the middle of June.

Love your daughter's name.  My name is Jill, too.  Do you ever call her Jill or is it always Jillian?

  • It's usually Jillian.  Once in a while it will get shortened to Jilly.  That's actually what she'll say when you ask her her name.  But I think it's just that she's still on one syllable words.

We're so lucky to only have our house on the market for 90 days before closing.  We really enjoyed that place.  Great layout and neighborhood.  I think we hit the right price point and happened to find the right people.

  • woah that's gotta be insane, moving while pregnant with a toddler!!! NO THANKS!!!! I told hubby, if we wont the lotto right now i'm not moving til the baby is 6 months old LOL?

i know what you mean about being tired with hubby on the way, fortunately for me my hubby is very understanding and when I tell him I'm too tired he doesnt pout or anything. I tell him my heart andhead want him bad, but my body wants to puke and sleep. ?I think maybe the idea of me puking in bed is a good deturant too LOL?

  • My DH has been trying but he always asks if my boobs are sore first, which they usually are. Plus, he knows I'm tired because I'm always falling asleep on the couch or in the bed so he leaves me alone. I keep telling him second tri will be much better and he can get all the sex he wants then so now he asks me how much longer until second tri? lol poor baby.
