..what to drink...

everything I read online is so confusing!  Basically only water seems 100% safe.  The caffeine thread below has had me searching online all morning.  I thought Crystal Light would be ok, but that has aspertame too- everything does!!   I don't drink much milk, I like water but I need something with taste every now and then....what are you girls drinking?

  • What about fruit juices?  You could probably find something without a lot of added sugar.

    This..fruit juice has been a life-saver when I want something besides water or milk.

  • I have been drinking a lot of water, milk and apple juice.
  • I always drink water, and once in awhile orange juice, or other 100% fruit juice or smoothies.

  • Just remember - everything in moderation. You can have caffeine just not 6 cans of coke in one day. I enjoy a nice glass of iced tea with sweetner every few days. I also drink Pineapple Mango juice for variety.

  • I've been drinking a lot of V8 fusion, though I water it down because it seems almost syrupy to me.  Extra fruits & veggies are always good.  Also, lemonade is a biggie for me, but mostly because lemonade is delicious.

    For the past couple days I've been drinking a can of Canada Dry ginger ale at snacktime, since that's when my nausea's been kicking it into high gear.  The full sugar/HFCS kind... artificial sweeteners taste like a butt imo.

    {edited to add} I totally forgot to mention herbal iced teas... Raspberry Zinger with honey in particular.  mmmm.

  • I am not all crazy about this so I kinda drink whatever (without caffeine). I drink Vitamin water, regular water, ginger ale or orange soda and apple and orange juice.

  • I've been adding fruit juice to my water to make my own "flavored water" beverages, still pretty low cal, but no artificial sweeteners!

  • I've been drinking lots of flavored seltzer waters (lemon, lime, raspberry, pomengranate, etc).  They are basically just carbonated water, but the carbonation and flavors makes it seem less boring that just plain water.

    i drink water and V8 fusion drinks.  the v8 fusions are pretty good, i especially like the strawberry-banana and it's a whole serving of fruit and veggies.

    Boathouse Farms has great veggie and fruit drinks.  Sold at all grocery and Costcos...they can be pricey

  • Besides water, I drink a lot of V8, orange juice and milk.

    I also drink caffeine-free Diet Coke, just not a lot so that I can leave room for other things. Aspartame has never been proven as harmful.

  • i have cut back to maybe one coke a week(usually caffiene free).. i keep my water bottle on me at all times.  im not a big milk drinker so i got ovaltine to make chocolate milk.  other then that i drink apple juice when i need something more filling then water.

  • I am drinking decaf tea once or twice a day, water with a bit of oj or cranberry juice.....or just water....gave up caffiene, soda,etc....once a week or so I get a decaf latte....
