Last night, husband and I were in bed watching tv together when out of the clear blue sky, he pulled down the covers, pulled up my shirt, poked my flabby-but-not-because-of-baby stomach, and said (all singsongy) "I think it's becoming obvious!"

It was hard not to cry.  "No honey, it isn't, that's what I normally look like."  /sigh.

     I bet he's just excited and is making up phantom growth.  He's excited to see a baby belly... that's a good thing!!!

    Do you think maybe things have shifted at all?  I have noticed the past few days that even though I haven't gained any weight, things have definitely shifted to a certain location!  Maybe your DH really is seeing a change?  

    My DH said something similar last night, said I was fat.  I was like, huh? He said well your pregnant, so its a good fat.  I couldn't tell if I wanted to hit him or not.

    That is mean, I'd smack DH. But it also sounds like he's anxious too, so it's sort of cute.

    I feel your pain! DH rubbed my belly yesterday and I had to explain to him that "no, that's not the baby...that's taco night."

    I have the opposite. I keep insisting I have a baby bump starting and DH shoots me down each time. I wish he would just nod and agree with me!

    My H said the same thing a couple days ago and I could've killed him.  I'm supposed to gain like, 5 pounds max in first tri, so thanks for calling me a heifer, jack@ss.

    He 'knows' it's not going to show for at least another month, but I think he's more excited at this point than I am, heh.
