wow- I just applied for a p/t job!
I am anxious, nervous, etc. I know it is a Friday night but I can't wait for the new week to get here to see if I hear anything.
I've been a SAHM for 2+ years now, and while its a wonderful thing, I feel that now is the time to try and get a p/t job- it would be a nice balance.
Not to toot my own horn- but this job is PERFECT for me. I know I am a great fit for it. Its local, in my field, and I know and network local-based vendors , which is what they are looking for.
I am just kicking myself because the job has been posted on their site and careerbuilder for almost a month- I wish I applied sooner. But DH said they wouldn't keep it up if they had someone already. I hope he's right and not just telling me that.
Anyway, I'll let you know if it goes anywhere.
