It's the LO's developmental age. If a baby was born 2 months early, you prob shouldn't expect them to roll over or whatever when every other term baby would be doing so.

Thankyou for the explination!! It makes much more sense now

I had your back, dear. If you don't know, you don't know. I wouldn't have known if I didn't have a preemie.

Thanks chick. I appreciate it! I genuinely didn't know. I've never been around a preemie even though I have indeed heard of them. :P

I didn't think adjusted ages were that relevant either until I started watching my niece a little more closely. She was born 4 days before LO, but she was born at 36 weeks 5 days (SIL has diabetes).
When I compare the two, the difference is HUGE. Ri is much more advanced than my niece but it's due to if you were to go by her adjusted age she's almost a month behind Ri. For her adjusted age, she's right on track.

Re: My own Unconsolidated FFFC
Have you really never heard of a preemie?
The adjusted age is their age based on their due date. It's relevant, especially for very premature babies, when tracking development.
You can put your claws back in. I said I didn't understand what they meant. Now that it's been explained to me, I do.
There's no need to get your underwear all up in a bunch.

she was just being honest, she didnt know. i didn't have a clue either and i was premature!
Yep Liss, it's an adjusted age based on the due date of your preemie.
Please guys, don't flame her. She didn't know. It's an innocent enough question if you don't know what it's all about.
