How rude are some people?

Okay so i happened to not be feeling well so i called off work. I started feeling better later in the day so i decided it was so nice out to run some errands. While i was out and in the area of the liquor store my husband asked me if i could pick some thing up for him at the liquor store. I didnt think any thing of it. I assumed some one would give me a nasty look but clearly i look like i can go at any second so no biggie. So i stop at the liquor store and i am walking to the cashier to pay. The cashier points to my stomach and says "whats going on here?" I looked puzzled and said "Im pregnant" He says "i can see that" I dont know why because well i know i didnt need to explain but i said "yeah im due in one week." I paid for my stuff and left. As im walking out i was kind pissed because i thought what they said was kind of rude. I get pregnant oman shouldnt drink and that perhaps the cashier was trying to get his view across but just because i buy liquor doesnt mean im going to drink it, i thought about going to talk to a manger but i figured i was wasting my time!

That is rude ... he just totally assumed that you were buying it for you!! It's the main reason I avoid these places altogether.

I went to the liquor store today to get my husband a little promotion present. I was expecting looks/comment but got nothing. They didn't even card me! A first :-)
