Welcome, ladies, to the Expecting a Sibling Weekly Check-In! I will try to post this check-in each Friday around 10:00am-12p EST, so be looking for it! I'll also try to repost this around Saturday-Sunday so that others can add to our thread. If you'd like you can also put the date of your next checkup or u/s and I'll add next to your name so that we can send good thoughts your way on that particular day.

Below is the list of ladies who have joined us, 53 so far! If you would like to be added to our list, please leave your Bump Name, your real name (if you choose to share), and what number child this will add to your family. Newbies are always welcome, as well as proud step parents & those adopting!

For those who are newbies please read the post New to January Moms or The Bump? (thank you to mchupie!). It will help answer so many questions, and you can also grab the January Joy button code from that post. There is also a bump glossary located here. And an unofficial glossary located here. The unofficial glossary contains a lot more bump lingo.

Update on our ladies: Thoughts & prayers going out to mita0523 after discovering no yolk sac on baby #2, and jkyle whom misscarried on 5/20 @ 5w3d. Hope to see you back here again soon! Also T&P's for myself, AppleMomma I've been having spotting, will update after the weekend.

If you plan on staying team green/yellow/red etc.(because we all know there is more than one neutral color), let us know so we can mark you as such.

Hi...may I join you? kpowersw = Kathleen, and I am pregnant with baby #3. I have an ultrasounds scheduled for Tuesday (25th) to make sure things are still progressing (we had a loss in Feb. so watching this one closely).

General QOTD: I've felt pretty queasy all week but haven't thrown up yet at all, so I'm counting my blessings. I want to be better about exercising this pregnancy but so far haven't done a good job with that goal.

QOTD: We did NOT find out with my first son but DID find out with my second. We are completely torn on what to do this third time. There were fun benefits of both choices that we are just stumped on that question!

General QOTD: I feel good, other than the absolute exhaustion. I don't remember being this tired with dd, but I guess I had the flexibility to nap more often than I do now.

QOTD: We did find out with dd. Part of me thought that for baby 2, I would wait for delivery, but I find myself wanting to no right now! I want to start decorating and planning for his/her room. DH does not want to be surprised at all, but would have gone along if I wanted it. So at this point, we will be finding out!

General QOTD: I'm feeling okay since discovering B6. Nausea has tapered off a little bit, but I'm still very tired and have little energy.

QOTD: With DD, we waiting until delivery. I think we'll do the same with this one also. Won't know until u/s is here, what we'll do.

This week has been a rough one! I'm more exhausted and more nauseous than I have been yet. I know I can make it through though!!!

With DS, we weren't going to find out and when our 20 week u/s happened DH goes "I know what it is"....of course I was like "whatever, you can't read ultrasounds" he talked with the u/s tech and he was RIGHT. Since he was right, I made him tell me!!!! This time, we are going to find out....I'm just not a patient enough person......

General QOTD: I've felt completely exhausted all week, and I feel sorry for DD because I just don't have the energy to keep up with her all day. I was very healthy in terms of eating with my last pregnancy. I'm doing well this time, but I'm a little more relaxed and feel bad about it.

QOTD: We didn't find out the sex when we had DD. DH and I both loved the surprise, but I think we'll find out this time. Mostly because DD was born in the summer, so I was able to go out about a week after she was born to get her some girlie things. This time since I'm due in winter, I cannot imagine getting out in the freezing cold and trying to avoid all the germs just to get some gender appropriate things. It's not a great reason, but oh well...

Same as always - normal. No complaints. Nope. Just trying to eat healthy like I did with DD

#1 - Surprise

#2 - We found out

#3 - We will find out again. This baby will be born in an entirely different season and won't be able to re-wear the other clothes. So, yay for shopping!!!!

General QOTD: How have you felt this week? Anything you're doing differently in this pregnancy? I've felt pretty good. I was a little down with the spotting continuing, but it's stopped and I had betas that doubled, but my progestrone went down a little. This pregnancy I'm at home since I'm a SAHM, so everything seems a bit different this time around. I'm not far enough along yet to anything too differntly yet.

We were team green, and really enjoyed it. DH got to tell me we had a girl after my section (my instinct was girl) and we really enjoyed finding out. We plan on staying team green this time, too. I wouldn't mind finding out, but DH wants it to be a suprise so much more than I want to find I out, so I don't mind waiting. And, most of our stuff is neutral, so it's not a big deal!

Feeling good for the most part. By mid afternoon I can hardly keep my eyes open. Yesterday my DD was saying "No, nap Mommy" This is going to be fun

We found out at 17w with DD and we plan to find out again. I just love knowing which gender to prepare for.

I'm feeling okay. A little queasy and very tired, but I think the tired part is more because DD is still getting up every 1-3 hours all night... sigh.

We found out with Neriah and will again. We both loved knowing and planning!

General QOTD: How have you felt this week? Anything you're doing differently in this pregnancy? Queasy, tired and anxious. Hoping I'll feel better after my first appt. (at least mentally better!) Things are different this time around. Last time I was working, commuting and taking business trips. This time I'm a WAHM, so I can sneak in an occasional nap when DD naps.

General QOTD: I am feeling bloated. I cannot even get my "fat jeans" buttoned comfortably. I don't think I am eating as well this pregnancy as I did the last so far. I am hoping to get it together starting this weekend, though. I am convinced the bad eating and the bloat are closely connected because it wasn't an issue for me the last time around.

QOTD: We found out in advance the last time and we probably will this time, too. DH is not good with surprises.

Pretty much constantly exhausted, regardless of how much sleep I get. However, I notice that I'm nauseous in the mornings that I don't sleep well. Otherwise I feel ok so far.

This is my 2nd, and we'll definitely find out the gender. My 2 will probably be under 13 months apart, which means if I'm having another boy that I can reuse DS's whole wardrobe since they'll be born in the same season. If it's a girl, I can only use some and will have to buy girl things. Luckily the nursery/toys are all gender neutral.

General QOTD: I'm still feeling pretty good. I fell down a few steps onto my @$$ yesterday so my butt is sore, but I've still got a decent amount of energy and only get nauseous every once in a while. Haven't done anything different so far. I don't think it'll really hit me that I'm pregnant until we tell people and go to our first appt (6/4).

QOTD: We found out at the 20wk u/s with DS and we'll do the same thing again. DS was born in May, but people bought some incorrectly seasoned clothes so I will be able to reuse some if it's a boy. And I'm a planner. And I don't like the idea of the doctors knowing something about my kid when I don't. I understand the anticipation of waiting to find out, but it's just not for me, because I'm too crazy, haha!

I'm so used to the TFAS checkin on TTGP that I feel like I should say congrats to the BFPs and GL to the 2wwers... Oh, dear!

General QOTD: How have you felt this week? Anything you're doing differently in this pregnancy? I'm still a little bit in shock. I thought our timing wasn't that great that month, so I wasn't really expecting a BFP at all, so getting one at 9dpo was really surprising. I'm also really nervous and anxious for beta results since I have been through 3 previous losses.
QOTD: Did you decide to wait until delivery to find out the sex of your first (second, third) baby? Are you going to find out the gender of this sibling? I didn't find out with DD and don't want to with this baby either. I know that it is always a surprise no matter if you find out at the u/s or in the delivery room, but I wouldn't change that moment when DH said "it's a girl!" for anything!

Hey ladies!!!!

I am feeling tired of course, and had my first episode on m/s this morning, but recovered pretty well.

We found out the gender for DD, and when we got out BFP in Jan, I wanted to wait for this one and find out in the delivery room, but DH wanted to know, so we were still on the fence when I had my m/c. Now I definitely want to know for some reason!!! Also, we do not agree on 1 name so narrowing it down will be easier.

General QOTD: How have you felt this week? Anything you're doing differently in this pregnancy? I extremely tired and feel a little funky but mostly starving. My toddler doesn't nap but on the rare day she does I am right in bed with her!

I had u/s at 16, 18, 22 and 35 weeks and could tell the gender until the 35th week. Then I went into labor at 36weeks and they did another while in labor to double check the gender. I would like to know a little sooner this time around, if it's a boy I have one hell of a wardrobe to sell!

Feeling pretty good besides the exhaustion. I thought it had more to do with our move and me being away for a training overnight this week but I'm beginning to think it's more pregnancy related. Trying to eat better than last time. I'm SAHM so not having a cafeteria/vending machines at work should help.

QOTD: With DD DH had to know. The idea of a room not being painted and the proper clothes baught killed him. So we found at at 20 weeks that we were having a girl. Most likely we will find out again
