when will this pass...

I have not been wanting to eat anything!!!  I have been making myself eat...I have not thrown up yet, thank goodness for that.  I just wish something sounded good.  I am having water, ginger ale, mixed fruit and fiber one bars.  yum!  anyone else going thru this too??

  • Morning sickness and nausea tends to let up at about 12 weeks, you are already half way there! Of course every pregnancy is different, so that's not a guarantee but most women feel much better as they get nearer to 2nd tri!

  • I am in the same boat as you!

One thing my sister (who has 4 kids) told me ... she said before your feet even hit the floor in the morning, keep some ginger ale and crackers or cheerios by your bedside and eat/drink a bit, then get out of bed. It has made a difference for me!

Yes.  My stomach and I are not on speaking terms right now.

When pregnant with DD, I had awful all-day nausea, so I totally feel your pain. It sucks. It started right at 6 weeks and didn't let up at all until around 15 weeks. Then it gradually started fading, and was totally gone by 18. I rarely vomited, just felt sick allllll the time.

Some people feel better when they eat, but that never helped me. I also tried B6, Seabands, and sour candy, and nothing really made a difference. I lost about 10 lbs in the 1st tri. You just have to get through it and remember there IS a light at the end of the tunnel.

That said, I'm not even 4 weeks KU yet, and desperately hoping the m/s isn't as bad this time around. If it is, I'll definitely ask about Zofran.

  • I've lived on OJ, Apples and Ice Cream for the past week or so. I'm slowly starting to get my appetite back, but am having major issues with filling up after a few bites.
  • I find that if I force myself to eat something I'm good, but my body seems to be craving pizza and pizza only!

  • I keep ordering food that sounds good and then tossing it in the trash when I finally get it. Nothing is living up to my stomach's standards. Except for the McDonald's cheeseburgers that seem to go down fine. :)

  • I have not vomited yet, but just feel nauseous most of the time.  When I am hungry, I am STARVING, and when I find something that looks appetizing, I fill up after just a few bites.  I am trying to snack throughout the day just to get the calories I need to function.
