  • How do you guys do this? I am so clueless. Amazing deals!
  • Well she put my story to shame....I'm just starting! :)  I found www.hip2save.com and The Money Saving Mom on Facebook - they've helped me tremendously!
  • I follow the Money Saving Mom, too.  But for store deals I typically go through the ads and my coupons weekly to see the best deals I can get...  Plus, through a lot of the samples and stuff I get from following the MSM come with high value coupons.  For example, the Kashi cereal.  Not too long ago I got a sample in the mail and it came with 4 coupons- 1 for a free box of cereal & 3 for $1.50 off 1 box.  This week at CVS the Kashi cereal was on sale for $2.50.  I bought 3 boxes and used 3 coupons for a total of $1/each.  Another example was for Walgreen's- that specific line of lip glosses were on clearance for $5.19 each.  Plus, all Revlon lip products were buy 1 get 1 1/2 off.  Plus, I had two $2 off manufacturer's coupons for Revlon from the Sunday paper from a few weeks ago.  PLUS, Walgreen's had a $2 off coupon in the May coupon book.  This = FREE!  :o)  Just clip every coupon that comes your way and organize them in a way that they are easy to reference.  Then, when the sale ads come spend an hour or so comparing what coupons you've got to what sales are going on.  Another thing to watch out for are high value coupons- 2 Sundays ago there was a $4 off any Nivea Body Wash coupon.  Well, Nivea body wash is only $3.49 at Target.  This = FREE!  Or, in this past paper there was a Target coupon for $1 any Bounty Paper Towel (didn't specify size).  The Bounty Basic (single rolls) at Target are only $0.99.  This again = FREE!  I don't know about where you are but here we get a free paper delivered to us called the Red Eye which has coupons in it.  We live in a 3 flat & the other two households give us theirs.  That's how we got 3 rolls free- by bringing more than one coupon in with us.  I hope this helps!  It will get easy once you get the hang of it.  & it will be SO worth it!  :o)
  • Good job.  That's great!
