Yeah, he could definitely handle pregnancy. He deals with worse aches and pains all the time since his job is physical and demanding. The hormonal/emotional side he wouldn't deal with well, but then again, I don't think I do either.
Labor and delivery on the other hand... I dunno. He's pretty tough and very determined.
Honestly, and I would NEVER admit this to him, I totally think he could. He's a tough guy and he is very sympathetic towards me whenever I am feeling like sh*t. Also, when I had m/s and couldn't get out of bed for the first few months he was AWESOME. I don't know why that makes me think that he could do it but I am pretty confident that he could.
Not a chance! My DH is skinny as could be. My weight fluctuates. He is always confused as to why I can't stay constant (not is bad way, just in a bewildered fashion).
DH likes things to always be the same - ALWAYS - the body changes in pregnancy would cause heart failure.
He's totally creeped out by the moving baby thing...he gets all heebie jeebie when she moves.
He has to sleep his 8 hours - the night time kicks would cause major issues.
Did I mention the smell/taste issues? He is into some weird foods, but when I was on the 5 year old diet, he just was completely confused...
No--he has been trying to quit smoking since I found out I was pregnant (and even a few times before that, he sort of tried). I don't think he would be able to make the sudden lifestyle change that would be necessary. I do think he could handle the physical part of it though, he's a second degree black belt and can usually work through pain. He'd probably complain a lot though--he had a toothache a few months ago and you would have thought the world would come to an end.
Re: In all honesty, do you think your DH/SO....

This exactly! Although I have my doubts he could handle any of it.
