Just got my 2nd beta results...
I'm at 17,784! I can't really believe it right now, because I was just praying for the number to be somewhat decent, and from what I can tell, this is great for almost 6 weeks.
I think I'm having a really hard time grasping the fact that I'm pregnant because it took us so long to get here (almost two years!).
I got married when I was almost 30 (after all my friends), so I started to look at marriage that happened to other people and not me. Because all of our friends are already parents, I started to think the same way about having a baby...it happened to other people but not me.
But now I'm pregnant! And things look to be really healthy so far. I'm praying that it will continue this way. I'm also hoping that I'll be able to let this reality set in. So excited!

My first number was 83. It was taken on May 6th, so this reading was taken exactly two weeks later. I know the 2nd reading is typically done within 2-3 days, but my trip out of town prevented that from happening.
