  • Besides Sophie, Winkel.  We just call Winkel "Toy" because DS loves it so much.  It can go in the freezer.  Pacis in the freezer help take the edge off.

  • DS loves his old fashion toy key ring. Really anything with tons of places for LO to hold on to and bite (so like the different legs on Sophie or the 5 keys on the ring) sould work. DS hates anything that is a simple circle or teether because it's not interesting enough.

  • good! I have both the winkle and the ring with keys on it. I feel like the winkle is a bit heavy and bulky for him but I am sure he will grow to love it.

Anyone has the teething ball? It's a small ball with nubs all around it.

When DS was around your LO's age, he still could not really grip most teethers, like Sophie, on his own.  I found these https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3618608 and he loved them!  very easy to grip....he always had the elephant's trunk in his mouth.

We have a couple of these.  They work pretty well.

We also have these. He prefers chewing on the plush or crinkly part.

We have a RazBaby, but it's still too big for his mouth. We have some of the rings with water in them, which he sometimes likes cold and sometimes likes room temp.

His very favorite, what he reaches/lunges for when he sees it, is washcloths. Wet, dry, warm, cold - doesn't matter. He loves chewing on terry cloth.

I never thought to put my Winkel in my freezer. I second the Winkel. That and Sofie are by far my son's favorites.
