3rd Trimester

nausea a sign of pending labor?

I have been nauseous the last 24 hours, and just yucky feeling in general.  No contractions, but a whole lot of pressure and some cramping.  I dont remember having any of this with DD, but i also induced labor at 41 weeks, so i didn't really "start" on my own.

Anyone else feel like this right before labor started, or is it just another fun perk of being this far along and having all internal organs squished.

  • can be a sign of labor, but it can also just be you being so pregnant.  sorry, i'm not much help!

Yeah, I felt this way Tuesday, but it didn't mean anything unfortunately.

  • I was reading my week-by-week book the other day and it said that nausea is common towards the end since your organs are so smashed in there these days.

    Sorry Sad

  • Nausea for me is only a sign of potential pending vomiting, sorry :(.  Once everything gets squished at the end, my stomach is pretty unpredictable...reflux & nausea, and sometimes not much warning when I think it's the first and it's actually the second.

  • I felt just BAD like you are explaining two days before I went into labor with DS.  But oddly the day before, I felt incredibly wonderful, but I awoke to water breaking that next morning =-)
  • I threw up the morning I had DD#2 and that was the first time I had thrown up my entire pg.
  • I've been nauseas the past couple of days, too.  Don't feel like eating either, so I've been having to force myself to eat because I need to.  I have read it's just part of the end of things wrapping up.  I wish it meant something!
