Hello January Mamas! I'm posting a little bit later than normal today because I slept in. It felt so good, and now, it's Ticker change day for me! I can't believe I'm at 7 weeks already!

QOTD: Yep. I started a Target registry, as more of a checklist than a registry, and will be doing the same with Amazon shortly. The last couple days have been all about crib research... we'll probably take a spin by BRU or something to 'test drive' a couple this weekend. I'm leaning toward a darker wood stain, no drop sides, preferably convertible to at least a day bed.
NBRQOTD: Mowing, maybe a little window shopping. I think we may try out geocaching this weekend, too.
I haven't let myself look yet. Maybe in a couple of weeks.
I have a cookout to go to on Saturday and I am a big enough lush that people are going to notice that I am not drinking.

I have been looking and actually bought a few items, but I need to hold off until I'm in the 2nd tri.

Homework, homework and more homework! This is my graduating semester, so I need to stay focused no matter my LO throws at me.

Yeah, I have that problem, too. We are having a big crawfish boil for Memorial Day at our house and I am going to be outed to everyone.

QOTD: I've looked a little, but have not purchased anything yet. We probably won't buy anything until we're out of the first trimester, but if I see a good sale or clearance, I probably won't be able to resist.
NBRQOTD: Hair cut, volunteering at a beer festival (this one will be rough - it's with a bunch of friends that don't know that we're PG), BBQ with friends, cleaning out the guest room closet, buying a bella band, and relaxing!
edit: hair CUT, not hair cute. I'm sure it'll be cute too, though ;o)

This is a funny question for me because we have so much stuff from our current two that we are almost thinking it would be best just to have another boy so we don't have to buy anything else!

We have a festival to go to at our boy's school. Then going to see my SIL's new condo. Other than that the usual weekend maintenance.
I like your daily affirmation. I think I'll write that down and look at it everyday to make myself feel better. =D
QOTD: not really...I'm hoping to make it past the 1st trimester before I really start BUYING stuff. I'm planning what I want to get and how I want to decorate the nursery but no official list yet.
NBRQOTD: engagement brunch for my BFF on Sunday, and working on our house (assuming I don't feel lazy/queasy)

We have definitely been window shopping. We haven't bought anything since I found out I was pregnant, but we already had a few things that we had gotten before. The only reason we got them though was because they were either free or a really good price. I think we've already decided on the furniture we want for the nursery!

Probably just relaxing at home.
QOTD: Have a inspiration folder. I have a general idea of what I want to do. I just have to wait and see it we are having a boy or a girl.
NBRQOTD: Nothing big, getting ready for a beach trip next week. Buying a couple of beach outfits, getting my hair & nails done.

I've not been into an actual STORE to shop for baby stuff yet, but I have purchased a couple of maternity things at some nice yard sales in my neighborhood. I also found a brand new (nice!) Eddie Bauer baby swing at a yard sale that had never been used. That was my first (and only) baby purchase thus far.
NBRQOTD: What are your plans for the weekend? Hoping to plant the garden on Saturday. On Sunday I have to work 10+ hours. Ick. I hate 1-day "weekends".
QOTD: Nope... won't really need anything unless LO is a girl.
NBRQOTD: Headed to Houston Texas from Saturday - Wednesday. My boys and I get to play the whole time but DH has to go to his compounding pharmacy certification courses.

QOTD:Totally! Just browsing though. I won't buy until I know if it's a boy or a girl.
NBRQOTD: None, so happy about that!
QOTD: I have started to look at bedding, but that's about it. We have so much stuff from dd, that I will wait to see if it's a boy or a girl before I really buy anything. We need to replace her bouncer and a few other items, but not much. Our biggest investment will be the bedding and the furniture that we pick out.
NBRQOTD: No big plans. Traveling a lot in the next few weeks, so I am happy to have a relaxing weekend at home and hope hubby will let me sleep in!
QOTD: I try not to look at baby stuff because I'm a little supersticious but sometimes I can't resist.I won't start buying until I know the sex.
NBRQOTD: I am meeting an old friend for lunch, and a friend I lost touch with for dinner. Saturday I am helping DH fix the bike trailor for Bike Week in Laconia and Sunday is church in the AM and then RELAXING!
QOTD: I've been browsing but not buying. I've only looked online, haven't made the leap into a store yet.

QOTD: Not yet. I think I secretly feel it's bad luck to do it so early, like I'll jinx's myself or something. After my 8 weeks ultrasound maybe I'll loosen up and go shop. Plus Ive been busy planning DS 2nd birthday.
NBRQOTD: We are doing nothing tonight. Just relaxing! Tomorrow we have an engagement party to go to for a wedding I will be in and Sunday we have our Nephews 3rd birthday party.
Well, the stroller we want is on sale through the end of May. Too early, but 15% off of $400 is maybe worth jumping the gun. We have our first u/s today, so if everything is ok, maybe we'll take a leap of faith.
Haven't bought anything yet excpet for bella bands for myself - lots of reasons for this 1) want to find out the gender 2) (and this is a BIG one) DH needs a job and we need to buy a house STAT. We barely fit in our place now with all of us plus wedding presents.
This weekend, not a thing. We may go out to dinner or something. Just trying to not freak myself out about first OB appt Monday!
I've browsed the baby section of every store I've been in that has one! I have ideas about what crib set I like, what bedding for a girl and what bedding for a boy, etc. And I am already sold on what stroller I am getting.
This weekend I have a ton of correcting to do. I am hoping it is nice out, so I can at least sit outside and do it. DH and I have some yardwork to do tomorrow as well, and on Sunday morning, we are doing a walk for cancer at the hospital where I will deliver.

I've been browsing internet sites, but have not bought anything yet. I can't bring myself to buy anything at all until I know the sex. I did get in on the free nusing udder cover offer and ordered that. So maybe that counts...
NBRQOTD: What are your plans for the weekend? Relax with the hubs. He works out of town during the week, so I can't wait to just hang out with him. Maybe take the boys to the dog park. I've been really wanting to, but can't handle the three of them by myself.

Nope - I think I am still trying to get my head wrapped around actually being pregnant. I'm sure that the window shopping will start soon though.

Busy,busy, busy. I have to do flowers for a wedding on Saturday, so that will keep me busy all day. Then babysitting for my brothers kids and a family birthday party. I need a nap.
QOTD: I did some earlier design layouts of the nursery (yes, I'm very type A). I have a boy option and a girl option. I haven't started to buy anything yet. We will do so after we know the sex.
NBRQOTD: Weekend plans... it's our 2 year wedding anniversary. We are going to go to the movies, out to eat, gifts, sleeping in, breakfast in bed, etc, etc.
QOTD: We made sure to get the big things for DS gender neutral so we won't have to buy any big stuff... I am in the market for a "Big Brother in Training" shirt, so I imagine I'll buy one of those soon. I haven't thought about getting anything for the new baby yet.
NBRQOTD: We are going to my friends' twins' 1st birthday party tomorrow. They live about 2 hours away, so we don't get to see them all that often. It's going to be a lot of fun! I think we're going to celebrate MIL's bday on Sunday.

QOTD: I have been shopping/looking online for stuff. No buying yet. I've been having a lot of fun looking through the nursery idea blogs on here. Since I'm off for summer in a few weeks- I would really like to start that project. I know it's a bit soon, but then I don't have to worry about it too much once school starts up again in the Fall.
NBRQOTD: Hopefully if I feel ok DH and I are going to see Ironman 2. Haven't been out on a "date night" in a while.
I have been window shopping, online and in the store. I have picked out our bedding (it's gender neutral) and have started a registry at Target and Babies R Us. I am going to buy a beband from Target this weekend, and I bought a marternity dress last weekend. (I feel the bloat major!)!
This weekend DH has to work, so I am going shopping with my MIL for some stuff (possibly) besides that not too much but relaxing!!
