And I'm home alone because H is working tonight. It's bright red but I'm trying not to freak out yet. I'll call the OB in the morning but I'm not sure what they can do or even see this early.
I can totally relate. I've had 3 episodes of bright red blood, but it hasn't been much quantity wise. It's really scary but unfortunately not much they can do. I have had a couple ultrasounds and everything still looks on track. My dr told me that if I start hemorrhaging blood to come in, but if I have a small amount of red blood, try not to worry about it since I've already shown that I'm a bleeder. :-(
I'm so sorry you are going through this. Especially alone. T&Ps everything is ok.
I give up trying to get a ticker. I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome. Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself. Hmmm. How about...

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Definitely call the OB first thing and ask for an US and bloodwork. I started bleeding Sunday night and this is what they did for me. I was 5w2d and was able to see the gestational sac meaning I hadn't lost the baby yet. I've had 2 blood draws and still waiting on the results. I go back in tomorrow to find out my status. If there is anything I've learned during this long horrendous weeks is that what will be will be. It is incredibly scary - I know. I finally stopped bleeding yesterday and have only spotted today. Hang in there and keep us updated.

Hey, I was lurking and I noticed that no one mentioned blood coming from the cervix. The cervix is very sensitive in early pregnancy and if you burst a blood vessel there, it can bleed quite a bit. I had that happen to me a little earlier than where you are and it was similar to a nosebleed - a lot of blood at first, then tapered off quickly. Everything turned out fine...I hope the same is true for you.
Oh, I hope everything is okay. Bleeding is so scarey and I'm sorry you're going through this. Hopefully your doc will do an ultrasound and everything will be fine with the baby. I've had an irritated cervix that has bled during two of my pregnnacies.

Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
