Things to do with kids near downtown?

The kids and are I going to be in the downtown area in the late afternoon... Is there anything to do with kids in that area (besides the Butterfly Exhibit and zoo)?  I won't have my double stroller, the car will be jam packed for a 10 hour drive, but I will be waiting on DH to get out of a meeting... so its either hang out in the hotel room for 3 hours, or find something to do.

My kids are 3.5 and almost 2.... maybe an indoor play place (like with bounce houses?) or a safe playground?  I'm willing to also go into West U, since I'm familiar with that area.

Thoughts?  Thanks in advance.

I'm really too late for this, but wanted to add that there are a few playgounds in Hermann Park as well.  If you're facing the zoo entrance area they're ahead and to the right (follow the paths down past the lake, towards the med center buildings).

Discovery Green does have a fabulous little playground with some fun water fountains to play in as well.  My friend's 3 year old adores it.  And on the opposite side of the park (neare the hilton and the conventioncenter) there's an area with two curved disks with benches in front of them a fair distance apart from each other.  The curved disks concentrate the sound waves so that you can sit on the benches and hear what the other person is saying.  Probably only entertaining for a short while, but still nifty.
