Many of you don't know this, but DH was unemployed for 16 months. He got a job last month, but he barely makes over minimum wage. The position is entry level and not in his area of expertise, BUT at least it was a job. He loves where he works and what he does, but if he could get a better job, we'll take it.

He has a job interview next Wednesday at a place where he'd be doing what he specializes in. If he gets hired, he'll be making 150% more than what he's making currently.

I just hope that if he gets it, he'll like it half as much as he likes this job.

It's one of those "Would you rather be poor and happy or rich and unhappy" scenarios.
