Just curious how some of your LO's are sleeping. DS sleeps GREAT but his schedule can be a bit difficult at times. He usually gets up between 8 and 830 and is ready for a nap by 1230-100 (I can push it off a little later but he has no problem falling asleep right away going down at 1230 and he doesnt fight going down) and lately he's been napping for 3 to 3.5 hours. I dont know if he's growing and needing more sleep or what because this only started a couple weeks ago (up until then he would nap 2 hours usually). Only reason I say it can be difficult is because there are times I'd like to get out in the afternoon but by the time he's up we dont have a lot of time till I have to get dinner going. Don't get me wrong....his sleep and his schedule is MUCH more important than anything I need to do, I just need to try and focus on getting things (errands, him playing outside, etc) done in the morning.
ETA:  He goes to bed around 8 or 830
Re: 26 month old sleep schedule
DS wakes up between 6:30-7:30, and usually naps starting around 1 for about two hours. He is in bed by 8.
We only deal with nap time on the weekends though, since he goes to daycare.
wakes at 8...nap at 1...and lately its been until 4-4.30....bed at 8.30-9
we eat dinner at 5.30-6 so its hard
i have friends with kids the same age as ds and they dont nap..so on the days im annoyed with needing to get stuff done i think about that and feel much better
ive tried to move his nap up to 12 but it hasnt worked yet!
My son is 29 months, but his sleep schedule has been the same since he was about 18 months!
He gets up about 7:30 and naps around 1-3:30 and then goes to bed for the night at 7-8ish. We can push his nap later or ealier, or he can skip one and we put him to bed by 7 if we skip. I couldn't imagine if my child didn't nap everyday though..I need that time for "moi"!
