So Far and no change!!

After 3 weeks back at work i still feel like if it was my first day back.. I am still sad every morning when i drop her off at my grandmothers house.. I know shes in great hands but i just hate being away from her.. So today i just couldn't help it but to miss a day just so i could be with my little girl.. LoL!!

  • I'm sorry you're feeling this way.  I don't have any advice, but I figure I'll be in your shoes soon.  I've been wondering if being happy at your job makes a difference when you return from maternity leave.  I figure the transition back would be easier if it's a job you love with a group of supportive coworkers.
  • Ayy Arelys!!! Being a mommy is tough.  But you'll get use to the working...if not see if you can work 1/2 the time from home?? Or something.  But I totally understand!!!  Good for you for taking a mommy day.  Sometimes those things just need to get done.
  • Aw, so sorry you are feeling like this.

Enjoy your day off.  Love your siggy pic btw - Valentina is beautiful!

Honestly i think that is one the the main reasons why its been so hard.. I was really unhappy at my current job before i had Valentina.. They where really giving me a hard time about taking my 3 months or missing days because of my OB appointments.. To make matters worse when i returned to work my desk was filled with work, work that dated 2/1 and Vali was born on the 1/29.. I made sure to not leave any work pending.. So the when i returned i would start fresh.. boy was i wrong!! so0o i am currently looking for a new job. =)

  • I have done that as well.  Last week, I was able to work from home so I picked B up.  I left E&C in school though, I wouldn't have been able to get any work done with all three home!  I don't have vacation days yet - but as soon as I do, I will be taking time off to spend with the LOs :0)
