DS is constipated. Honestly, we have never had to deal with this before. He recently started the transition to whole milk and are trying a few different finger foods but I am unsure why this is happening now. (I thought milk may make him have loose stools).
Any advice on what to do? He is squeezing and squeezing and only 2 little pebbles come out (TMI, I know).

the transition to whole milk alone could cause his constipation- my little sister was dreadfully constipated while transitioning- like horribly. so my mother switched her to goat's milk. no more issues- eventually when she got closer to 2 my mother started introducing cow's milk again- no issues.
the dr said it had something to do with the cow milk protiens and her body simply wasn't ready yet.
i know some people don't like to give juice- but we give alex a 4oz bottle of PlumSmart Plum Juice everyday (watered down). we also make sure to give her lots of fruits that will help (not bananas or anything)
even still, her poos are a little harder. sometimes i just think it's her body trying to work itself out. good luck!
(yogurt- does he eat it? i've heard it helps!)

i know rice cereal is not good for constipation, so the puffs might not be great either - they are rice based. to help ds's constipation we give him prunes, peaches, pears, and green vegetables & juice (prune or apple) mixed w/ water.
Prepare a small bowl of oatmeal with pear juice instead of milk/formula. Mix in prune puree. Feed to DS.
Wait 3 hours and then hand DS over to DH to get his diaper changed.
Works for us.
LOLOLOL... Except in my house, DH would take one look at the diaper and say "Ummm... what am I supposed to do with this?"
