I know you guys are counting down the days until Abby's birthday so I'll quit asking party questions...sorry!

Did/will you do party favors? How did you decide on what to do?

I've always done favors according to the theme for Nate's parties, but I'm having a hard time coming up with something for Abby's since so many different ages will be there. Just looking for ideas....

I did goodie bags. I put bubbles and different types of candy in them.

But I think bubbles and cookies are good for kids of any age.

I'm doing party bags too. It's going to be a pool party theme so they look like beach balls - so cute. I'll do candy, bubbles (stolen from this post), maybe a really small water gun (hope parents don't have a prob with this), and freeze pops (that parents can freeze and give to their kids later).

ETA: I may also do a fake tatoo....

For Caroline's 1st, we did bubbles and board books. Not sure what were going to do for her 2nd!

Nate had a pool themed party a couple of years ago and I hung beach balls from the ceiling. It turned out really cute! I also used beach towels as tablecloths.

When I was a kid my mom did a pool party birthday for me. She got the beach balls and wrote each kids name on a ball with a paint pen in a cute handwriting. The balls were all blown up and floating in the pool when the kids got there. (that might be better for older kids, but just an idea.)
