I don't fit in anywhere!

in 2nd Trimester

I'm about a week into the 2nd tri, and I don't fit in with the conversation on this board. It's not time to do the nursery, I'm not feeling the baby move, I'm not showing, I don't know the gender yet, etc.

I'm so through wtih the 1st tri board because I no longer have morning sickness and all the other early pregnancy symptoms that dominate that board.

Where's the board for the chicas in this in between stage that don't look or feel pregnant anymore?

    I found, even though my experiences aren't always on par with what every woman on this board is experiencing, I can learn and prepare for when my time comes.  I've got tons of nursery and baby gear ideas by lurking.

    Sometimes I can offer advice, just based on my knowledge.

    So, if you're not comfortable posting, just lurk around until you feel you "fit in".

    I have found that to be in the case when you switch trimester boards.. no matter what the switch is.  I have found it best on the birth month boards because then we are all within 4 weeks of each other max.  GL

    What do you mean you don't fit in??? Are you in your second tri??

    You fit in here and the other boards......I am almost in my 3rd tri and I barely show... I follow conversations and I read on things that interest me! Hang out for a while, you do fit in!!!

    That's where lurking came in for me. I don't post on this board often, even though I finally relate to most things.

    I lurk on 3rd tri and 0-3 all the time and I obviously don't fit in there yet.

    I can say that there is always something exciting going on, on this board. Its not always about preganncy related stuff but it is a lot of fun here. We love having a good laugh on this board. Just lurk around a few days and prepare for what you are getting yourself into!!

    Like pp, i would suggest you look at your birth month board, there is always a funny stage you with on the tri's since there are so many diffrent stages. I find that on my birth month board that we are going through alot more of the same things since we are all in about a 4 weeks span of each other.

    I lurked a lot at first.  There will be more girls moving over that are where you are, and a lot of the girls on here now will be moving along soon.  They are all topics that you will be ready for in a few short weeks.  It's never to early to think about registering or your nursery.  The month boards are a good idea too, although, there will still be people ahead of you on there.

    Transitioning trimesters on the Bump seems to be tough for a lot of people.  When I went from 1st to 2nd I kind of felt like I was starting all over again.  I'm heading over to 3rd tri soon.  I know I'll be hearing a lot about Moms who are near their due date etc.   I cant relate to that yet but it gives me something to look forward to! 

    Hang in there and enjoy 2nd tri!

    You'll get to those points.  Just because they aren't coming up very soon doesn't mean you can't learn from the experiences of others as to what to expect.

    Try your birth month board. That or start a conversation about something that is affecting you.

    i find its nice to read about things ahead of me so im ready and because it makes me excited to see what im in for. also, i am 14 weeks and have a big bump and im so self conscious lol
