I've already been on dona.org to look up Doulas in my area (the city) but was overwhelmed by how many of them there are in Chicago. Does anyone have any personal experiences or recommendations re: Doulas in Chicago?
I haven't had any experience with doulas this is my first pregnancy, but I just took a baby class on Saturday with one. Her name is Colleen, her website is https://www.colleenthedoula.com/ . She gives different classes and I think she knows what is she doing. I read good things about her and honestly the class I took was a really good one. Good luck!
Re: Doula recommendations in Chicago
I don't have personal experience with this doula, but my midwives always recommended Rita with Mother Me Inc.

My doula was amazing- she is DONA certified and will travel.

I would start by emailing all of them to ask about prices. For me, I had a budget and that was helpful in narrowing my search.
Our doula is out in West Chicago, but she's great! She also teaches Bradley classes.
