My fluids were almost exactly the same as last week, and I seriously had to control myself so I wouldn't break down sobbing. Of course I want her to cook as long as she needs, but it sucks being told you'll probably have a baby this day and then it not happening. The doc did however lift my restrictions for bedrest so I'm allowed to watch my daughter, make meals, etc. as long as I'm resting at intervals and taking a nap each day. That alone made me sooo happy since I don't have to have MIL here for the first time in like 3 weeks!!! The woman actually asked if I wanted her to come anyway. Um, EFF NO!
So we'll recheck next week, if the fluids are low they'll take her, otherwise it looks like I'm making it to my previously scheduled 39 week csection!
Re: FU to low fluid u/s yesterday...
Ugh, I know what you mean about wanting the baby to cok, but also wanting to meet your baby! I went through that with W, even checking in the hospital at one point thinking I was getting induced (called all the family, etc!) then being sent home for another week!!
Yay for not having MIL around anymore, though
.
If you don't mind me asking, what have your fluid levels been? I'm new to this whole low fluid thing, and am just trying to get info and compare...thanks and good luck!!
Are you on bedrest or anything for yours? What are your levels?
That is cool that he lifted your restrictions!
It was the same way with DS2. They finally induced at 38 weeks when it was down to 2.3. We go tomorrow for our weekly fluid level check. I am nervous since DS2 is back from his grandmas.
I'm not on bedrest, my doctor says she doesn't feel like it makes a difference, but since so many of ya'll are, I am trying to take it easy for my own sanity!
At 20w, my fluids were at 6, and at 21w it was 9.7. I'm just supposed to avoid all caffeine (incl. decaf coffee/tea, and chocolate...sob!), and drink as much water as possible.
Honestly Lauren I don't see the correlation either (being on bedrest), but I am still trying to take it easy. I guess we'll see next week what not being on bedrest does to my fluids.
Man I'd love to go in next week at 38 wks and have this kid but I doubt it'll happen, and she'll make it to her 39 weeks as scheduled.
Alright 618 where in IL are ya? Belleville, Cville...? (i'm in STL).
I am in Belleville! I just notice your avatar pic!
What hospital are you delivering at?
Oh cool! We're just off 44 and Hampton, we're practically neighbors.
I'm delivering at MoBap, you?
