LOL at DH :-)

We don't know the sex of baby #2, and we are having major issues agreeing on a boy name.  I am starting to feel stressed about it.  

I sent him an email today (he's out of town until tomorrow) with 17 boy names that I really like, and asked him to do the same.  He only likes Joshua and Jonathan, neither of which I really want to use for various reasons.  I asked him to give me a list of 10-15 names that he really likes, and we can narrow them down.  Here is the list of names I like that I sent him:

 Theodore, Benjamin, Nathan, Nathanial, Barron, Quinn, Julian, Adrian, James, Shane, Edward, Dean, Dylan, Henry, George, Brendan, Ashton

Here is his response:

Josh, Josh, Josh, Jonathan, Josh, Clark, Josh, Josh, Josh, Josh

 

*sigh*

I give up.

     Me too- I think the Clark shout out is the funniest part.  You should tell him you really like Clark just to see what he says.

    hahaha- omg we are in the same boat.

    But i personally like Joshua- and DH doesn't

    and DH likes Jonathan and I don't.

    We have NEVER agreed on boys names- from day one. And we KNOW this one is a boy- sigh. it is a real PITA

    I know I don't get any say in this but I saw you said Julian and for some reason that really struck me as a good name.  A) because Julian Casablancas is from The Strokes and who doesn't love a rocker and B) it's different but not wierd.

    At least your DH isn't stuck on the name Knut. Knoot is how it sounds. Some king during vikings time. That was what I had to deal with for 9months. I
