FTM here. I love reading. I'm addicted to magazines... I LOVE getting them in the mail! I do need to subscribe to one regarding babies/parenting. Which ones would you suggest? Parenting Magazine? I would buy a two year subscription...
There are a few that you can get free subscriptions to - a quick Google search brought up a year of Baby Talk and 6 mo of American Baby for free. I am not sure of the quality of the info in these, though.

I get Parenting (Early years). I like it. Now that I am only 3 months away from having a baby (CRAZY!!!) I am enjoying reading parenting stuff. I spent my months TTC and the majority of my pregnancy reading stuff about pregnancy. Now I am realizing that it would be to my advantage to read about what to do when this human being pops out! : )

MY BLOG
My favorite used to be Wonder Time, but it ceased publication. Meh. That was great magazine.
Anyway, I'm a magazine junkie. So here's my feedback!
Babytalk/American Baby: Well, thse are free! Once you get past all the formula ads, they are pretty decent. I wouldn't pay for them, but they are worth a quick flip through.
Parenting Early Years: Mainstream, but I do like that it is targeted at parents of very young children.
Parents: Very similar to Parenting. They have some articles about older children, but there is still a heavy baby focus.
Kiwi: The only reason I subscribed to this was because I was able to get it free. Content is thin, and it's mostly trying to sell organic and earth-friendly everything. Yes, there is the occasional good recipe or article, but it's not worth my time. If I want crunchy articles, I prefer Mothering!
Mothering: It's expensive and you don't get much content compared to other magazines. Still, this has been a favorite of mine for a couple years. If articles about cloth diapering, baby carrying, co-sleeping, and alternative vaxing options are not your thing, then I wouldn't recommend it. I managed to score a free digital subscription to it recently.
I have kept every issue of Mothering and Wonder Time that I ever bought. The other ones I toss after cutting out the occasional recipe or article.
Re: Which magazine?
I recently started getting Mothering and I really enjoy it. It has opened my eyes to things that I wouldn't normally know about.
