DD has never had a problem sleeping in her pack n play when we travel, up until now. She's still in her crib at home but I think the pack n play is getting a little small for her to sleep in; she moves around alot at night and bumps into the sides, which wakes her up. I'm wondering what else I can have her sleep in/on when we travel. Any suggestions?
Re: Travelling and LO's sleeping arrangements..
Usually time shares. Also, my IL's have a house upstate NY which we go to occasionally for weekends. They do have an extra bed in the other room, but again, she's never slept in a bed yet.
I was going to suggest this too. We only used a pnp at a hotel once, when DD was 7 months old. After that we've stayed in hotels twice and asked for a crib. They give you a portable crib, it's a little smaller than a regular crib, but DD has slept very well in it.

A friend of mine has an AeroBed for kids (for her 3yo) and swears by it. I've thought about trying it for DD, but I'm a little nervous about an air mattress for some reason. It is pretty firm when it's inflated and has a fitted sheet that comes with it and fits tightly. For now, though, I usually get a room with 2 double beds and DD and I sleep in one, DH in the other.

We got the Aerobed for her and she loves it! It is sunken in so she can't fall out and I will just sleep next to her on the couch when we go visit my sister in San Fran next month.
