I have 2. My sister let me borrow hers and then I got one at my shower.
Personally, I don't like them at all for nursing. The one thing that I LOVED mine for was to sit on after I got home. It's the best donut in the world! Lol
I also used mine to set the baby down in. I draped a blanket over it and put baby's bum in the hole and rested them back on it.
I used mine for a lot of things but never nursing.
I had one with my 1st child, but we lived in a ranch, so it was easier to get if I forgot it in the living room or bedroom. Now, we live in a two story, so I decided I wanted two, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. Granted, both of my boppy's are hand me downs. One is from my brother, and my friend just gave me her boppy since she was going to get rid of it.
With my first I loved to have one on each floor so I wasn't carrying them back and forth. With my second, I often times had a baby latched on while chasing the toddler around or putting him in time-out, so didn't get as much of a chance to sit quietly and nurse (I miss those days!) When I am by myself and can relax to nurse, I actually prefer to lie down in bed as it is way more comfortable with my neck problems.

I have 2. I live in a 2 story house and its easier to have one upstairs and one downstairs. It was such a pain having to walk back upstairs with my DD to get my boppy.
I absolutely loved having two to have them in different places so I was ready to go in our favorite nursing places. But nursing was really hard for me and any little thing to make life easier was way worth it. Now that DD is older, she loves to use them as a pillow and naps in them. I also like to use them for a neck rest or an extra pillow for my preggo belly. Maybe take one out and see how much you use it once LO is here and then decide if you want two?
Thank you so much for the input! We are in a 1 story 3.2 that isn't very spread out so I think one will work and I will take the other back and maybe get additional covers.
i got two as hand me downs and I'm excited to be able to keep one on the main floor and one in the basement because knowing me I would get myself all together in the basement and have forgotten something like the boppy.
if you have a situation like mine i would keep both. unless you need something else off your registry - i doubt its a necessity to have two

I only have one, but might also get a My Breast Friend pillow - a lot of my friends have recommended that one over the boppy, but I got a boppy at our shower, so I am keeping it.
Re: boppy- how many?
This. I never needed more than 1.

This. You'll need a few covers, but only one pillow.

This!
Take it back and get something else.
We have two. Thank God!
One is up stairs another down stairs. When we begin taking her to family and friends one will be at home, one will travel.
