Bronson for a boy

Don't tear me up too bad, its a very near and dear family name! What's your reaction? What nicknames come to mind? (FWIW both Bronsons in my family were referred to as Mike).

My daughter's name is Lillian and I think they go well together. If we have a girl I think we're going with Georgia.

I knew a Bronson growing up. I like it...not all that common which I like too. I don't remember a nickname for him though.

I love it, wish I was having a boy for the name in particular! As for nicknames...Bron maybe or Bronnie when he is a little guy. It's a very strong name, and like was said before not very common!

I think of the actor, Charles Bronson. I think if you didn't have an overly macho last name, it would work. Not necessarily my pick, but I wouldn't think twice of a kid named that.

I LOVE it...if we have a boy that's the name I'm pushing for. I don't think we'd really use a nn, but maybe Brons, pronounced "Bronts" vs "Bronze". I say go for it. I've known 2 guys with this name and both have turned out to be successful and well liked.

The other little boy at daycare is named Bronson. I didn't like it at first, but it has grown on me and now I love it! Doesn't hurt that the little boy is adorable!
