Beginning to really dislike this day...

It started out great...my cousin came out, the kids played and we had a great visit:) Then she went home and I continued on my day....
Our accountant wants us to take our business and get it on Quickbooks for tax time prep and all that good stuff. He says that they ordered too many for their office so they'll sell us one. Sound great. Yeah, that was back in March and somehow they still don't have the program for us. It is now May and our trucks are rolling, I *need* that program now. Best Buy had it on sale, so I bought it today.
After that I went to Target to take a look at the Shark Navigator (the vacuum DH wants vs. the Dyson I want). I thought I'd be fair and take a look at it in person. I admit that I like the look of it, but I like having on board attachments and I'm just not crazy about having a hose to "wind" up. Plus, the container where the dirt goes is much smaller than the one I want (super handy in this house, lol). The Dyson may be bulkier but I think it's a better fit for us (being as we just had one and it was awesome).
I called DH to (nicely) let him know what I thought...I even said what I did like about it. However, now he's grumpy at me. :::sigh::: He said get whatever I want but I know that if I order it he'll get all huffy when he gets home.
I also went to put the Quickbooks program on my laptop. Yeah, it requires Internet Explorer. I loathe IE. It's big, it crashes, and I just haven't had good experiences with it. I begrudgingly went to download it....it says that my computer doesn't have the requirements for it. Funny....as it came with IE8, I just uninstalled it.
Brownies fix this kind of stuff, right?

hmmmm brownies.
as an accountant- i loathe Quickbooks. I use it daily for clients- there are just so many better accounting softwares out there.
I had no idea what to get and our accounting firm uses it and DH is familiar with it. I'm just hoping I don't screw anything up, lol.
And having brownies around here is going to get me into trouble...DH and DS picked them out, but DH burns off everything he eats and DS never sits!

i wouldn't worry about it- QB is rather user-friendly when it comes to inputting things. ~ i just don't like it from the accounting end- but as far as user friendly-ness- it is a slam dunk.
damn now i want brownies too.
