Snarky and T-TTC

Is this dress too dressy?

Saturday DH and I are going to a friend's wedding celebration.  It's kind of a reception for everyone who couldn't attend the wedding.  The invitation says the dress code is casual and it's at some amphitheater I've never been to and it doesn't have a website so I don't really know what the venue looks like.

Do you think this dress is too dressy?  I'd rather err on the side of being more dressed up, than being too casual, but I don't want to stick out either...

I got this dress the other day but in a different print:

Looks like a winner to me! Super cute. If you did it with nice sandles it would help dress it down a bit too.

  • The pic is blocked for me at work, but it sounds like it would be good based on pp's.  But if you're still concerned about possibly being too dressy, maybe keep a change of clothes in your car just in case?

Thanks, ladies!  And yes, I am going to wear strappy black flats so I think that'll help keep it more casual.
