Has anyone had a cerclage placed at GBMC?

I'm scheduled to have it done in two weeks and I'm just wondering if anyone has had theirs placed at GBMC.

    I had a friend that had it done there back in August.  She didn't have any problems and was in an out with not much waiting.  Very simple procedure.

    Thanks for your response. As you can see I'm nervous as heck about the procedure. It doesn't help that I just received my first trimester screening results and now they want to do the CVS. Geeez, if it's not one thing it's another.

    Well I had the cerclage placed last week and everything went well. Unfortunately, my cervix had already started softening and funneling before they  stitched me. However, the stitch was placed high up and I'm now on bedrest for the remainder of the pregnancy.
