Diaper Bag Organization

How do you have your diaper bag organized? Do you even carry a true diaper bag? I'm always on the lookout for tips to try to minimize the digging to find things in the bag!
To answer my own question, I don't carry a diaper bag per se. I use tote bags, Target has some great summer ones. They have 3 or 4 storage pockets on the outside and the inside is huge!
I have little travel bags for everything. Diapers have one, bottles another, toys another, snacks etc.................The quick grab things I need access to go on the outer pockets, like a small container of antibacterial wipes, my wallet, puffs etc......
I also change out bags like I used to change out purses. It makes me feel somewhat "normal", like my bag matches my outfit like my purses did before baby.
What do y'all do?

We have a big diaper bag (a diaper dude one) that I rarely use b/c when you have a little pockets filled it's hard to get into the big opening!
I usually use the free similac diaper bag that I got in the hospital, but I am actually going to Kohl's and Target to get a regular old tote like you described above! these days I tend to carry mostly toys it seems!
that;s an awesome idea w/ the little travel bags! did you get those from target?
i have the skip hop duo deluxe diaper bag. part of me wants a bigger bag, but another part of me knows it's just not worth it. in only use it on the weekends since i work FT. it has enough compartments for everything including my stuff, but i feel like when i need to get things, everything is just on top of everything so it takes time to dig through it all.
I have a designated diaper bag, but I only use it if we are going to be gone for the day.
Otherwise I throw a couple of diapers and DD's sippy in my regular purse and we're good to go.
Oh, and the diaper bag is not organized in the least. It's got a bunch of stuff just thrown in there just in case.
I actually got the little storage bags from Ross! They had an adorable set of 4 for $10. The biggest one is the perfect size for diapers and then I just filled the others accordingly.
I have a ton of little cosmetic storage bags I got from Clinique/Avon etc........but I wanted ones that matched. I'm a big OCD like that
I am beginning to feel like i'm total OCD now!!
We have a diaper bag. The inside big part has an extra outfit and bibs in the very bottom. Diapers on top of that. Then a bottle of puffs and maybe a toy. One outside pocket has a blanket I use when out and about to lay him on for diaper changes and a receiving blanket. The other outside pocket has a package of wipes, diaper rash cream and hydrocortisone cream.
There are also smaller pockets on top of the bigger outside pocket. In those small pockets I have lots of kleenex, travel hand wipes, and mini lotion. There's another smaller zipper pocket on top when I keep extra powder formula (4 bottles worth) and a couple biter biscuits.
ETA: There's also an insulated bottle holder on the side where we keep a cold bottle. If we are dropping DS off to stay overnight, I will bring an extra bag (free Similac bag from hospital), filled with pjs, extra clothes, socks, bibs, more diapers/wipes, blanket for sleeping, and toys.
