Last week I posted about my NTS results - the measurement on the scan was 5.8 and got scheduled for a CVS today. We just got back and they did another scan and the CVS which was done transcervically. The Dr. was great! The procedure wasn't too uncomfortable at all, I think getting the speculum in was more uncomfortable than the actually procedure. Afterwards we talked to the Dr. and he told us that the measurement wasn't as big as the other facility had reported last week (this could have been because it's resolving on its own) - it WENT DOWN!!! it is now 3.5. We paid for the FISH results (rapid results) which we will get by Thurs. the latest.
Please continue to send good thoughts, prayers, dust, etc. for good test results.
Re: xp from 1st tri: update
Hooray for good news! My cystic hygroma had completely resolved by the time we got the CVS so hopefully, you get the same fabulous results that we got.
Are you going to find out the sex when you get the FISH results?

Hi there, thank you! I'm glad you posted, I had a question.
I remember you said it was huge the 1st time around and then it went away. How far along were you initially and then the 2nd time?
I was 11 weeks 3 days and then 12 weeks 2 days.
We will be finding out the sex of the baby.
The initial NT scan was at 11 weeks 2 days and measured over 6mm. I never heard the actual number but my husband said he saw 6 point something on the screen. We had our CVS done 6 days later at 12 weeks 1 day and it was completely gone. The nuchal fold measured 1.8 at that point. So, far we have had perfect results, but still have the fetal echo coming up soon to get through.
Our FISH results came back the next morning after the CVS. I hope you get the same great news we did.
