1st Birthday Party.... who to invite?

Who all are you planning on inviting to LO's 1st Bday party? I was planning on inviting my parents, siblings, neices and nephews, and our closest friends. Who are you inviting?

And.... if your parents or IL's are from out of state, are they flying out for the occasion?

    Even though I have a few months away to think about it, parties take planning! lol...When september rolls around, I think the same people you mentioned, but that list can get very long! I want to invite all my friends that have little ones as well, but I don't know if I want to make it that big of a guest list. I guess I could always do it at a park! lol. My inlaws are local.

    We are traveling to FL for DS's birthday, since that's where our families are.  It will basically be our whole family on both sides: grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.  Plus a few close friends of the family.  About 45 people total.

    basically we're inviting everyone you mentioned - ds's grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  then a slew of close friends and their families.  it comes to about 22 people.

    I'm thinking about doing a pirate theme. I'm guessing it will be close to about 25 adults and 10 kids! I'm not sure where to have it, it seems like a lot of people to be in our house in October!

    The first birthday party is big in my family.  It's generally the only birthday that we invite all extended family to (because our extended family is so large).  So we're inviting my and DH's aunts, uncles and cousins (in addition to our immediate families).

    we're basically going off of our couple's baby shower invite list + their children. our guest list is at 93!!!

    We are inviting anyone who was invited to LO's baby showers (family friends, Grandparents, his Uncles) plus a few moms that I met in Moms Group and Playgroup.  I think the list is at about 30 families, but I doubt everyone will attend.

    We are inviting family & friends that came to see DD when she was born. I figure if "they" didn't care enough to come visit when she was born, then they don't need to spend her birthday with us.

    We're inviting close family....my parents, DH's siblings and parents. My siblings and their kids and close friends and their families. We're not inviting anyone out of town.
