DH is having a helluva day

The morning wasnt too bad being home with sick Ava.  She took a nice almost 3 hr nap which is probably the best thing for her.  I went home at lunch to check on her and she was still sleeping.  When she woke up, DH gave her medicine and she threw it up along with her earlier bottle.  It was so bad, he had to put her in the tub and rinse her off.  And now he is attempting to give her another bottle.  I told him to wear something he doesnt mind getting throw up on just in case.  I guess it is a good thing he is going out tonight.  Sounds like he needs a break.

    Not sure if your DD has stomach flu or what...but when my DD was vomiting the doctor said to let her tummy "rest" for four hours before trying to give her another bottle, and then to do it about an ounce at a time, waiting about 10 or 15 minutes in between each ounce to make sure she could keep it down. And he told us to put some pedialyte in the bottle for dehydration.

     That might help your DH with not getting puked on!
