Yesterday, we toured a few open houses. One of the ones we went into was an atrium ranch. The lower level of the home had an inside garden area around the stairs with all sorts of live trees and flowers. There was a memorial stone for a dog in the middle of the garden area. DH commented on the stone, and the realtor said, "I told them they should remove the marker because some people might find it disturbing that the dog is buried inside the house. They decided to leave it though. I think there might be a few other pets in there too."
I am pretty sure this is #1 on the list of strange things I have seen in open houses.

Seriously. We need a reality show of your life.
I found a pic of the garden area. You can see the memorial stone in the middle of the pic at the bottom.

An indoor garden is super cool, but not with a dead pets with a marker included. Seriously creepy.
