Without rehashing the Pampers issue, can someone explain the difference between Pampers Swaddlers and Pampers Baby Dry diapers. I have heard the swaddlers are great but DH came home with a bunch of baby dry yesterday.
Swaddlers are very soft and I love love love them. Baby dry is not as soft and apparently has better leak protection maybe but I never had leak issues with Swaddlers.
Something about their "drymax" technology is bad, I think I heard there isn't enough material between butts and the chemicals that soak up the pee. It's causing really bad diaper rashes and chemical burns from what I've heard.
We use Pampers Baby Dry, and have never had a problem with them. We've tried so many different brands from Swaddlers (gave her a rash), to Kirkland brand (these were ok), and now we're on the Baby Dry. They hold a lot of pee in, and I like them. I did try the Cruisers before the change. My friend gave me a box of them after her DD was potty trained. But I like the Baby Dry better. Not sure why, but they work for us.
I returned 5 boxes of Dry Max yesterday (because I'm a paranoid freak) and I refused to pay BRU's diaper price so I went by BJ and all they had in sensitive swaddler was size 4. Looks like I'll have to look at Target BUT in the mix of ALL the Dry Max, I found 1 newborn size box of Swaddlers Blanket Soft-no dry max. I was so flipping excited. lol
We liked the swaddlers better when lo was brand new because the baby dry always seemed to slide down her butt, which made it a pain to change her in the middle of the night especially (it woke her up too much to have to change an entire wet outfit). So we've stuck to swaddlers since.
