Babies: 9 - 12 Months

After the first 2 bottom teeth pop through..

What ones are next?

We think lil one is teething again, same signs as last time.. we are wondering which teeth are next? Where should we be looking? Up, down?

(I know.. the obvious- look in her mouthStick out tongue

  • the next ones are usually the top front teeth. DD's just broke through, along with the teeth on either side. it's easier to see the top teeth coming in (IMO), you'll see the big bump on their gums.

  • After DD got her bottom two, she got the top two.
  • They went from bottom 2 to top 4 (all at once) and then another 2 on the bottom.

DD's 1st tooth which just cut the gums last week is her top left tooth.  I guess she had to be different!

  • DS got his bottom teeth at 6.5 months... His front two just broke through this week (though the white bumps and teething signs have been going on for the last 2 months!) So it can take awhile!

I've been a nanny forever and in my experience the top two front always come in after the bottom two. But I'm sure there are exceptions... every baby is different!

  • Thanks everyone! Those are the ones we thought.. just wanted to make sure!

The drooling had stopped, the spitting out buckets of saliva had stopped.. now.. it's ALL back w/ ear pulling (not infected per pedi) and general miss fussypants..

Yeah! More teeth here we come! I love the toothy grins!
